May in flower farm: how to plan, grow, harvest and arrange seasonal blooms in late spring with a specific focus on Bearded Irises

A two days intensive workshop tailor made  for farmer florists: from my farm to yours.

PROGRAM:

DAY 1  – WHAT TO GROW; HOW TO GROW

9 a.m. /  5.30 p.m.

After a quick farm tour and welcome breakfast we will introduce you to our selection of May blooming bulbs, annuals, biennials and perennials focusing especially  on our faves: Bearded irises.

We will also talk about sweet peas, geums, roses, peonies, alliums, foxgloves and many more.

How to grow them, which varieties, the best suppliers, everything you need to know in order to have abundance in May .

DAY 2 : ARRANGING SEASONAL BEAUTIES

9 a.m. / 5.30 p.m.

Arranging,  probably the best part! after learning how to grow these beauties it’s time to play and arrange with them.

We will focus on a natural bouquet and a no floral foam centerpiece.
