Workshop: All about Tulips – 20/21 April 2023

A two days intensive workshop tailor made  for farmer florists: from my farm to yours.

PROGRAM:

DAY 1  – WHAT TO GROW; HOW TO GROW

9 a.m. /  5.30 p.m.

Everything you need to know about how to grow tulips for SUSTAINABLE cut flower production.

After a farm tour and welcome breakfast we will introduce you to the  most interesting varieties for flower farming we’ve selected over the years, the endless palettes we can build and where to buy your most precious bulbs.

Cut tulips that are currently sold wholesale are only a very small fraction of what it’s available to grow. Many of the tulips we grow for cutting are not meant for cutting but they do an excellent job. Even better, they are our best sellers.

DAY 2 : ARRANGING SEASONAL BEAUTIES

9 a.m. / 5.30 p.m.

Arranging with Tulips!

Before the floristry part we will invite you to create your own flat lay with what you like the most, a sort of natural, alive mood board.

Then we will learn how  make a natural bouquet, a no floral foam centerpiece and a set of  sustainable small accessories.

No matter the lenght or the strenght of the stem there’s always a way to successfully use them!
